If I submit an altered grade transcript to the auto insurance company looking to get a good student dicount, do I have to worry about them calling the school to check. Is this a realistic concern. If they do, what are the real consquences?
It's called insurance fraud, and it's against the law whether you get caught or not.
Yes, your insurance company may contact the school directly. I've seen it happen, especially if they are suspicious.
If you get caught, you will lose your coverage. And it's really hard to get auto coverage when you've been cancelled by another carrier.

Hi I am Mark from San Diego.I want to reduce my auto insurance if i take any San Diego online traffic school course will i get any auto insurance benefits?
You can compare how the insurance quotes would change, for example here – autoinsurance.noneto.com
Getting better rates on your auto insurance is something that many people would like to do. So many are paying a lot of money, too much money – and doing it unnecessarily. By following a few simple steps, you could reduce your annual auto insurance costs, and save some money for those other projects you would like to do. Here are five steps that will enable you to reduce your costs.
1. Compare car insurance quotes
This is one of the easiest things to do, because you can do it at any time of day, just by going online. You will want to find an insurance Web site that will allow you to get several quotes from different companies with just one application. When you do this, go to at least two different Web sites and get several quotes from both.
Before you get that new car insurance policy, however, you may want to do a little research to discover some things about the company if you are not familiar with that name. You might check with the Better Business Bureau to see if there are many complaints about them not paying for accidents, etc.
2. Read About Car Insurance
In order to really understand what you may be able to do without, in the way of options, you should have a good understanding of what the options cover. Greater savings will come from a greater understanding of what your needs really are. For instance, if you have a brand new car, you may not need the towing option for at least a year or two. You may also be able to do without car rental, too.
3. Increase Your Deductible
This is one thing that can give you a noticeable reduction. By increasing the amount of money that you pay in each accident, you put the insurance company at less of a risk. They like this, and will lower your rates to reflect the amount that you increase your part. Be sure, though, that if you have an accident tomorrow that you can afford to pay the deductible. You will be required to pay it before the auto insurance company will pay their part.
4. Get Less Coverage
Instead of buying the most coverage you can, it is a good idea to get the recommended amount. Also, if your car is more than 10 years old, you should probably drop the comprehensive part of your auto insurance. After 10 years, you may be paying more for your comprehensive than the car is worth. Save this money instead, and apply it to getting another, newer car.
5. Add Security Features To Your Car
If you live in a more urban area, or in an area where there is car theft, you can lower your car insurance rates by adding some security features to your car. These usually result in a discount with each new feature you have. This includes steering wheel locks, auto alarms, and satellite tracking systems.
Besides these things, you may want to talk to your car insurance agent to see if driving classes will also lower your rates. Having multiple cars insured by the same company, and staying away from cars that are the most likely to be stolen, or sporty, will reduce your rates, too.

I am a teen and going to be driving soon, but i was wondering how does the good grade discount work im asking two questions: What does your GPA need to be? (generally, i know maybe not all insurance companies will be the same), and do they go by each semester/quarter, or do they go by your accumulative GPA throughout your whole high school years 9-12
You will usually need to maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher. It would depend on the particular car insurance company if they will go by semester or by quarter but most go by semester. I really suggest you contact a few insures or browse through their websites to find out for sure.
Aside from good student discounts there are also other discount options that you may be eligible for. Check out the article I referenced below.
Hope this helps!
Since there are many factors that go into determining your auto insurance rates, there are many chances to lower your rates.
If you change jobs and your drive to work changes or you stop working or you work from home, you should contact your insurance company.
If you have a teen driver and they go to school over 100 miles away without a car then you should be able to get a discount.
If you get married and are in your teens or twenties call your insurance company and see about combining your policies.
Take defensive driving if your state allows it for a discount.
See if increasing your comprehsive and collision deductibles will save you a lot of money. You need to compare what you’re saving and how much more you will have to pay if you file a claim. For example, if you go from $500 to a $1000 deductible and it lowers your insurance $50 per 6 months then it saves you $100 a year.
It will take you 5 years to break even from what you are saving compared to how much more you have to pay.
Now, if it saves you $250 every six months then it would be more worth your while.
See if combining your auto and home insurance polices will qualify for a multi policy discount with your current company. This could be a substantial discount.
One of the biggest ways you could save $200-$500 or more a year is shopping around for insurance. The auto insurance industry is very competitive and this is great news for smart consumers like yourself. Shop for auto insurance quotes here and see how much you can save.
