Yes, it will as it goes on your driving record. When your insurance carrier runs your driving record for renewal purposes, it will raise your premium

Normally, if a ticket wasn't issued and your own insurance did not pay out for the claim, then you won't be surcharged

Any accident you have in any car, owned or not, increases your risk. Increased risk can lead to an increase in premiums at renewal time. If your risk goes high enough, insurance may take the option to not renew you at all.

Well yea, if you crash a car thats not yours, how responsible does that make you look to your insurance company? if you crash a rental car and still want car insurance, your going to have to pay alot for it.

Well, stop and ask yourself why it wouldn’t.

It’s you driving a vehicle, and getting into an accident.

Regardless of who’s insurance you’re in, it’s still you being in an accident.

So, once you’ve realized that, then you realize that your question is moot, as you already have the answer.

Will Rental Car Accident increase insurance rates?
Hi,
I rented enterprise car but unfortunately bumped into a tree.I had full insurance coverage on the vehicle.

So I would like to know if that accident will effect my insurance which I have on my personal car?
